PROFILE
Anna Bezruki is a Junior Visiting Fellow with the Global Health Centre and a Ph.D. Candidate in Global Infectious Disease in the School of Health at Georgetown University (United States). Previously, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, and as a Research Assistant and Research Officer at the Global Health Centre. She holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from the Geneva Graduate Institute, and an A.B. with a major in Biology from Bryn Mawr College (United States). She was a 2022 Fellow in the Emerging Leaders in Biosecurity Initiative. Her research focuses on the global governance of outbreaks, international outbreak notification and information sharing, and how political factors shape preparedness and response.
