CONG WANG

JUNIOR VISITING FELLOW, Global Health Centre

Cong Wang is a Junior Visiting Fellow at the Global Health Centre and a PhD candidate in Diplomacy at the School of International Relations and Public Affairs, Shanghai International Studies University (China). She holds a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature with a specialization in International Affairs from Beijing International Studies University (China). Her research focuses on the European Union’s global health governance, with particular emphasis on policy performance, institutional coordination, EU–China cooperation in global health, and the EU’s evolving biosecurity agenda. She also conducts policy-relevant research on European affairs and digital geopolitics. Her work on “The Geopoliticization of EU Submarine Cables amid Great Power Digital Competition” was published in German Studies, a leading Chinese peer-reviewed journal indexed by the Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI).
