Profile

 

Danae is a first-year PhD candidate in Anthropology and Sociology. Her research examines capital mobilization and allocation in sustainable finance, with particular attention to impact investing and blended finance initiatives linking Switzerland and Latin America.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and a Master’s degree in Anthropology and Sociology from the Graduate Institute. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, Danae gained professional experience in research, project management, and stakeholder engagement across academia and think tanks, the private sector, and multilateral organizations. Her work has focused on contributing to policy-oriented and international solutions addressing the needs of vulnerable rural and urban communities in Peru.

Danae has also served as a teaching assistant at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and has published academic articles related to her previous research.
