Despoina is a PhD Candidate in International Law. She holds a Master's degree in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, where she was the recipient of scholarships from the Mylonas Foundation and the Graduate Institute. She also holds a Master's degree in International and European Energy Law and a Bachelor's degree in Law from the Democritus University of Thrace. Admitted to the Athens Bar Association, she previously practiced in the fields of international investment arbitration, commercial arbitration, and Greek energy law. In addition to her research, she has coached teams for the Charles Rousseau Moot Court Competition and the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and serves as co-convenor of the International Law Department PhD Roundtables.
