PROFILE
 

Gabrielle Bazin is a PhD Candidate in Economics at the Geneva Graduate Institute. Her research focuses on environmental economics, with an interest in sustainable finance and macroeconomics. She also works as a research and teaching assistant at HEG Genève, supporting Prof. Anjeza Kadilli on a project examining the impact of environmental regulations on sustainable investment.

Prior to her PhD, Gabrielle gained experience in both the private and public sectors, working for leading economic consulting companies (NERA Economic Consulting, Compass Lexecon) as well as for public institutions such as the French Treasury (within the Economic Department of a French Embassy) and the European Central Bank.

Gabrielle holds a MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics (2024) and graduated from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in 2025. She completed her classes préparatoires at Lycée Sainte-Geneviève (Ginette) between 2018 and 2020. She was awarded the Fondation des Ponts’ Prix Pasquet, which recognizes the top student in the engineering programme.
