International Law graduate, expert on forced migration in the European, Central Mediterranean and  North African region, holding extensive field experience with humanitarian INGOs involved in seaborne migration.
 
Presently Spokesperson of the rescue NGO Sea-Watch, where she also covered the roles of Head of Italy Country Team, Legal Advisor and Head of Advocacy. She recently concluded a one year-long field mission with MSF in Libya and Tunisia in quality of Advocacy Manager.
 
Giorgia Linardi took part to several Search and Rescue missions in the Central Mediterranean and Aegean Sea as well as aerial monitoring operations and led the activities of the humanitarian affairs department of MSF project in in migrants’ detention centers and community-based support in Libya.
 
Presently Refugee Law Professor at the School of Law of Milan “Bicocca” University and editorialist on migration and related politics for the Italian national newspaper “La Stampa”.
