Profile

İdil Yildiz is a fourth-year PhD student in the IRPS department of the Geneva Graduate Institute. She obtained her master's degree in Carlos III de Madrid, Social Science department. Her thesis focused on the lack of conceptual clarity in transnational terrorism and its complex relationship with the production of data used in policy-oriented research in international security governance. Currently, in her doctoral thesis, she studies the role of researchers, and their scholarly collaborations, in the making of financial data, used for policy benchmarking in evidence-based research, that shapes fiscal and monetary policies advocated within and around International Financial Institutions.
