Profile

My work centers on the politics of reproduction and statistical violence in Palestine/ Israel.  My PhD project focuses on representation of the Palestinian body (sexuality, fertility, reproduction) in the Israeli statistical and demographic practices, and on the idea that statistics play a crucial role in settler colonialism, and are central in the colonial quest to make indigenous people more controlled, understandable, and eliminable.
