Jean Gorz Swanson teaches quantitative methods and statistics within the inter-disciplinary programmes at the Graduate Institute. Her background is as a lecturer of statistics in inter- disciplinary settings, primarily in London, UK. She has been an Associate Professor at various British Universities, including Kingston University and London Guildhall University.

Her research interests include the evaluation of the impact of programmes in developing countries, and assessment of international undertakings such as the Millennium Development Goals.
