Profile
Myrto Stavridi holds a law degree from the Law School of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens (2016) and an LL.M. in Public International Law with honors from the same university (2019-2020). She also holds a master’s degree in international law from the Geneva Graduate Institute (2024-2025).
As a student, Myrto completed internships at the European Court of Human Rights (2016) and the Liaison Office of the Council of Europe to the European Union in Brussels (2015).
Myrto was admitted to the Athens Bar Association in 2019. She practiced civil and administrative law in Greece, including collaborating on cases submitted to the European Court of Human Rights. She worked for The AIRE Centre (Advice on Individual Rights in Europe Centre) as a Project Assistant and subsequently as Legal Project Coordinator for the EuroBrits project, assisting UK nationals in retaining their residence rights in Bulgaria, Greece, and Norway following Brexit. Myrto also served as a Legal and Administrative Coordinator of the Refugee and Migration Studies Hub of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
From 2017 to 2023, Myrto coached the team of undergraduate students representing the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens at the European Human Rights Moot Court Competition (now renamed Helga Pedersen Moot Court Competition), helping them achieve multiple distinctions, including 3rd and 2nd places, and individual best orator awards.
Since 2024, Myrto has collaborated as a research assistant with Yusra Suedi, Lecturer in International Law at the University of Manchester, and in 2025, she worked with Umut Yildirim, Assistant Professor of Anthropology, Geneva Graduate Institute.
