Niccolò Simoncini is a PhD candidate in History and International Politics at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. His research focuses on the history of monetary relations between the United States and Western Europe in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a master's degree in International Relations from the University of Florence. Before starting his PhD, he worked as a bank employee, and he also completed an internship at the Permanent Representation of Italy to the International Organisations in Paris.
