Sandesh Sivakumaran is Professor of International Law at the University of Cambridge, Director of the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law, and Fellow and Director of Studies in Law at St Edmund’s College, Cambridge. He is a general public international lawyer, with a particular interest in the human dimension of international law. He is the author of the multi-award winning The Law of Non-International Armed Conflict (OUP, 2012); co-author of Oppenheim's International Law: United Nations (OUP, 2017) and Cases and Materials on International Law (Sweet and Maxwell, 9 ed, 2020); and co-editor of International Human Rights Law (OUP, 4 ed, 2022).
