Professor Chiara Giorgetti is the Walter W. & Maria Theresa Regirer Research Scholar in International Law and Professor of Law at the University of Richmond School of Law, and Non-Resident Faculty at the Vienna Diplomatic Academy. She is an expert in public international law, specializing in international dispute settlement, international courts and tribunals, investment arbitration, and claims commissions and has published 12 books and over 80 articles and chapters.
She serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of the Register of Damage for Ukraine and has acted as counsel, adjudicator, and expert in international proceedings before the International Court of Justice, ICSID, and several international claims and boundary commissions.
She holds a JSD and LL.M. from Yale Law School, a law degree from the University of Bologna, and an MSc from the London School of Economics. She is co-host of International Law Chats, a podcast of the American Branch of the International Law Association.
