Johannes Boehm is Professor of International Economics at the University of Geneva and also a research fellow of CEPR (London) and CEP, LSE. He conducts research and teaches on topics related to international trade, industrial development, growth, firms, as well as on macroeconomics and environmental economics. He was previously a professor at the Geneva Graduate Institute and at Sciences Po, Paris and has held visiting positions at Berkeley, Princeton, and Harvard. His research focuses on the role that trade and trade networks play in the process of growth, and on policies that can foster both the development of industrial capabilities and enhance economic resilience in the face of adverse conditions, including geopolitical risk and climate change.
