Graduate Seating Arrangements
All graduates should be present at the special entrance marked “Students” at least 45 minutes before the beginning of their ceremony.
Graduating students will be seated according to study programme and then in alphabetical order. Names will be indicated on the designated seats.
Once students have received their diplomas and had their photos taken on stage, they should return to their same seat. Students are requested to remain in the assigned seat for the entire ceremony.
Seating for Guests
Guests will be invited to sit in the designated guest area.
Guests are required to enter through the entrance marked “Guests”. We recommend that guests arrive early in order to choose their seats.
Dress Code
The graduation ceremony is a formal occasion to celebrate your academic achievement. As a truly international institution, the Geneva Graduate Institute has a tradition of celebrating our diverse community by encouraging students to wear traditional dress from their home country, or formal attire.
Web Live Streaming
For graduating students, families and friends unable to travel to Geneva for the ceremony, the event will be live streamed and the video will be available online afterwards. Graduating students not present at the ceremony will also have their names called and shown on the screen in the auditorium.
The live stream link for the event are available above.
Cocktail
A cocktail will take place right after the graduation in the CICG lobby.
