Our residences

Located in the heart of International Geneva, the two newly built residences offer an exceptional and cosmopolitan living environment. Noteworthy for their architecture, the residences provide bright and comfortable living spaces and meet high-level environmental requirements. Both are easily accessible by public transportation and are walking distance from Maison de la paix.

What is included


Our residences provide occupants with a turnkey solution. The accommodations are equipped with all the necessary comforts and modern conveniences to provide the highest level of hospitality.

Each accommodation:

  • includes a study space, a sleeping area, a bathroom (except in some shared accommodation) and a kitchen (except in smaller accommodation equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and sink)
  • is furnished (bed, desk, etc)
  • is equipped (wifi, linen, kitchenware, etc)
  • is cleaned and linen are changed every two weeks   

Rent includes utilities (water, electricity, heating) and bicycle parking. It does not include car parking or storage locker.
 

Priority policy


Priority is given to Graduate Institute students, visiting professors and fellows. However, students from public academic institutions in Geneva and Switzerland, as well as staff from international organisations, are also welcome to apply.

Grand Morillon Student House

Situated on a hillside, Grand Morillon Student House is located near the International Labour Organization and United Nations Geneva headquarters. In addition, it is only a five minute bus ride or a 20-minute walk from the Maison de la paix . The residence features a variety of common spaces, including three rooftops, one of which offers magnificent views of Lake Geneva, Mont Blanc and Jura mountains.

Ideal if you are looking for an international campus-life, the Student Residence includes:

EDGAR AND DANIÈLE DE PICCIOTTO STUDENT HOUSE

A footbridge away from the Maison de la Paix, the Edgar and Danièle de Picciotto Student House is a five-minute walk from parc Mon Repos, the lakeside and the United Nations headquarters. The number 15 tram stops directly outside the residence, providing quick and easy connections to the city centre and Cornavin train station.

The Edgar and Danièle de Picciotto Student House is also walking distance from the Pâquis, an international and lively neighborhood with many restaurants and grocery shops.

Ideal if you are looking for accommodation in a smaller-scale environment. Located in an urban setting conveniently located next to the Institute, the Edgar and Danièle de Picciotto Student House includes:

  • one common room (tables and chairs, billiards table, microwave)
