Altai Blue Horizon is a volunteer-led Swiss-Mongolian non-profit organization working to improve educational access in Bayan-Ulgii in Western Mongolia. Financial limitations in the remote area of the Altai Mountains pressure public schools to compete with private institutions often inaccessible to local families. This report presents a business model blueprint establishing a sustainable funding source while strengthening both the NGO’s long-term activities and local economic participation. The document maps the potential modus operandi, existing frameworks, and opportunities for partnership with artisans in Mongolia and with selected resellers and business partners in Switzerland.
