Abstract

This project will analyse the ways in which qualitative field research functions as an institution that structures global governance through both knowledge and ignorance claims. It then considers the different ways that the institutionalisation of field research might evolve, and the ethical configurations that might entail. The project outputs include workshops with international, national, and local researchers; and a journal special issue.
