Based on fieldwork in Geneva and interviews with nuclear practitioners in national capitals, Johanna Möhring research explores whether, and how, national conceptions of nuclear weapons in France, Germany, and the United Kingdom have evolved in the thirty years since the end of the Cold War.
The project examines both continuity and change in nuclear thinking across these three countries, and considers how such mentalities may influence European defence cooperation and shape the future of European security.
