Hilary Charlesworth is a Judge of the International Court of Justice, the first Australian woman elected to the Court and the fifth woman ever elected. She is also a Harrison Moore Professor of Law and a Melbourne Laureate Professor at Melbourne Law School, and a Distinguished Professor at the Australian National University.
