Chatting with your own data. How to ‘customize’ large language models to specific research needs.
Blank page syndrome/writer’s block? Boring document to read? Impossible to understand research outputs from other disciplines?
Large Language Models like ChatGPT hold a promise to help you navigate all these conundrums and they achieve that quite well (with impressive results on some tasks). But what if you could leverage all these incredible capabilities for your own purposes? You could always get the latest information around a topic from your notes and other proprietary documents that are not available online and ChatGPT is not aware of.
This workshop is an introduction to Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and aims at providing an overview on the most basic techniques to build a conversational AI that understands your documents or data.
