Fionnuala Ní Aoláin is the Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms while countering terrorism. She holds the Robina Chair in Law, Public Policy, and Society at the University of Minnesota Law School and is a professor of law at the Queen’s University of Belfast.
