This online speaker series introduces how the empirical approach can complement traditional international law research. In today’s world where advances in information technology have led to many groundbreaking findings and innovations in various fields, international law scholars are also engaged in more empirical works, particularly big data analytics and computational researches.

In this talk, the speakers will share their experiences working in cross-disciplinary settings between traditional and empirical legal researches  — how can law work with big data?
