Auditorium Pictet A
Maison de la paix, Geneva

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the United Nations, this special event features personal stories, audience debate and live music. Hague Talks represent a meeting place for creative minds, innovators and game changers in the field of peace and justice. It is a stage for new ideas, a forum for discussion and a starting point for concrete action.

Five personal interventions will stimulate a debate with the audience on topics as diverse as parallel mediation, criminal tribunals, international justice and the role of jazz in dictatorships – come and be inspired!

Featuring talks and performances from:

  • Marcelo Kohen, Professor of International Law, The Graduate Institute
  • Martin Gramatikov, Head of Measurement and Evaluation, Hague Institute for Internationalisation of Law
  • Pedro Cravinho, musician and researcher
  • François Roux, avocat, Rusconi & Associés
  • Merlijn Twaalhoven, composer and musician (performing “Postcards of Aleppo”)

The event will be followed by a “café de la paix” reception.
