Macroprudential policy: Taking stock of the state of the art, and ways forward

The Bilateral Assistance and Capacity Building for Central Banks programme’s annual conference brings together central banks, academics and policy makers. This year, experts from the central banks of Colombia, Tunisia, Vietnam, Peru, Ghana, Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina.will discuss their experiences.

A research workshop on September 21 will feature panel discussions on “Financial cycles and macroprudential policy” and “Monetary policy impact and conduct”. The policy conference on September will feature a keynote presentation by Richhild Moessner (Bank for International Settlements) followed by panels on “the effectiveness of macroprudential measures”, “the interaction between monetary and macroprudential policies” and “the international dimension”.
