This event presents new research suggesting that from a policy perspective, fostering linkage with foreign firms is paramount for developing countries to stimulate greater innovation output.
The findings are drawn from a new paper estimating a structural model of firm-level openness, innovation, and productivity using a broad range of developing country data from the World Bank Enterprise Surveys.
