We invite you to join us for the hybrid roundtable titled Inspire Students: Professions in the Field of Diversity & Inclusion on Tuesday, 5th March 2024 at 12:30 - 13:30 Geneva time, either on webex or in room S5. This event is in collaboration with the Feminist Collective, the Gender Peace and Security Coalition, and the Professional Development Committee.

Following the roundtable, a networking coffee break will be offered until 14:00.

Here are the panelists: 

Anushka Raje

Anushka Raje (MDEV‘21) centers Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in all aspects of life. She currently serves as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coordinator at the Democratic National Committee (DNC). Additionally, she is a dancer and member of the creative board of Capital Funk, a dance team in the Washington, DC area rooted in community and storytelling through hip hop.

Emma Jones

Emma Jones (MINT‘24) is a current student and the Co-President of the Geneva Impact Investment Association. Last summer, she began an internship at Credit Suisse as a DEI Strategic Advisor, which became a UBS internship following the acquisition and where she worked together with Jacqueline. She also has experience as a Disability Support Worker at the University of Nottingham.

Jacqueline Kossiwa

Jacqueline Tossoukpe (MIA‘19) started her career as Zürich's first black female police officer in 2009, igniting her commitment to Diversity and Inclusion across various sectors. Her journey includes becoming a DE&I expert, with notable roles in education, consulting, government, UN, and now the private sector, where she works as a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisor with UBS.

Laura Crivelli

Laura Crivelli (MIL‘13) is an international human rights lawyer specializing in child protection, and prevention, response and risk mitigation of gender-based violence with field experience in Columbia and India, among others. Since 2021, she has been working with the UN, first as a legal officer for gender equality and statelessness and currently as an associate gender-based violence officer.

 

About the Inspire Students series: The Alumnae-i Office is organising a series of thematic roundtables aimed at connecting current students and alumni of the Institute around shared interests and to share experiences.
