This event will serve as an external event of TEDx to lay the ground for the upcoming TEDx conference in March 2023.  The panel discussion will be moderated by a TEDx board member, with a Q&A and apéro following the panel discussion.

The focus of the discussion: 

A week before International Women’s Day, this panel discussion aims to explore what is foreseen to be the topic of the 2023 edition: the role of women in climate change, and gender equality in the context of disaster risk reduction. In light of this year’s TEDx theme (relating to ‘thinking outside the box’), this academic panel will focus on how women can be better included in the decision-making processes of disaster risk reduction in the context of climate change.
