Looking Back at the 2023 Alumni Reunion

The 10th annual Alumni Reunion took place on Saturday 16 September at the Maison de la Paix and at the Hôtel Beau-Rivage.

What a wonderful time we had!

The 10th Annual Reunion of the Institute's alumnae and alumni was held on Saturday 16 September, and sold out more than 10 days before the event. Thanks to you, we were able to raise nearly 60% of the cost of a scholarship for a student, an amount equivalent to the 2022 edition. Thank you for your support!

Laure Waridel, Laurence Boisson de Chazournes, Jacques Grinevald, Cleopatra Doumbia-Henry, Maria Teresa Infante Caffi, Maurice Kamga et Nilly Sikorsky, all profiled in the "Inspiring Stories" launched to mark the Institute's 100th anniversary in 2027, have honoured us with their presence. The same goes for the families of Michel Kafando and Nobuyuki Idei. We are infinitely grateful to everyone for their participation, both in the afternoon at the Maison de la Paix and in the evening at the Hôtel Beau-Rivage.

The Alumni Association's Committee has also undergone a complete overhaul: President Natalie Africa, Jason Shellaby and Walid Abdelnasser have completed their terms of office, leaving Jasmin Danzeisen as President. We thank them warmly for the energy, diplomacy and time they have devoted to the Institute in recent years, and are delighted to welcome four new members: Jacqueline Kossiwa Tossoukpe, Suba Umathevan, Mahmud Samandari and Matthew Stephenson.

We look forward to seeing you again in September 2024, at a location yet to be determined, and are already counting on you to be many to celebrate the 11th Reunion!
