The Graduate Institute and the University of Toronto Sign a Cooperative Agreement

The agreement will permit master and doctoral students from each institution to spend a semester at the partner institution as well as encourage a multitude of other projects, exchanges and collaborations.

The Graduate Institute, Geneva is pleased to announce the signature of a cooperative agreement with the University of Toronto in Canada. Founded in 1825, the University of Toronto is one of the leading Canadian institutions of learning and research. It includes the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, an interdisciplinary academic centre with various research and educational programmes committed to the field of globalisation. Like the Institute, the Munk School is a full member of the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA).

The agreement will enable several master and doctoral students from each institution to spend a semester at the partner institution. Equally, the agreement will encourage faculty exchange and research projects, participation in summer and undergraduate semester abroad programmes, as well as collaboration in seminars, workshops and academic meetings.

With this new agreement, the Institute now has a portfolio of 46 partner institutions around the world.
