Looking for a Good life: When Cuban Migrants return home

Searching for a better life and a better place to live is the goal of many migratory projects.  But what does a better life look like?  How are ideals of a good and valuable life reassessed as a result of crisis and migration? Valerio Simoni, Senior Research Fellow at the Graduate Institute in Geneva, presents in this 4th episode of Fields how he studies the experiences of return of Cuban men and women who had migrated to Spain, in the frame of a European research project, BETLIV.  Valerio tells us about his research trajectory and his passion for fieldwork.

The five-year project, has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement No. 759649)
