Dumebi is a PhD candidate in Development Economics under the supervision of Professor Jean-Louis Arcand. She holds an MSc in International Economics from the Geneva Graduate Institute, and a BSc in Economics from University College London, where she specialized in international development. She currently works as a Research Analyst at the World Bank, specifically within the Africa Gender Innovation Lab. Previously, she worked as an International Consultant at the International Trade Centre, focusing on export potential, value chain development and economic growth. Dumebi's research interests include poverty alleviation, inequality and health, and her thesis focuses on the allocation of foreign aid and its impact on development outcomes.
