Gavin Yerxa is a product leader and entrepreneur with experience across economic policy, fintech, and technology for private markets. He is Chief of Staff to the Product organization at Carta, where he helps shape product strategy and scale the team building the operating system for private capital — spanning founders, startups, venture capital, and private equity.

Previously, Gavin founded Thirdwork, a fractional talent marketplace for fintech startups, and was the first product manager at Knoetic, where he helped build one of the leading people analytics platforms.

Earlier in his career, Gavin served as a senior advisor in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, where he worked on U.S. trade and investment policy. He also worked on international economics at the World Bank. He is a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations.
