Giacomo is a PhD researcher in International Law at the Geneva Graduate Institute. He holds an LL.M. in International Law from the Graduate Institute and a combined bachelor’s and master’s degree in Law from the University of Turin. He is also an alumnus of the Center for Transnational Legal Studies (Georgetown Law) in London. Before starting his PhD, Giacomo worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Turin and interned at the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITC-ILO). In 2023, he collaborated with the ERC-funded N-EXTLAW research project at the University of Amsterdam. Giacomo’s research interests include international human rights law, business and human rights, international labour law, and legal theory.
