Fred Kusim Awindaogo is a PhD researcher and a Teaching Assistant at the Graduate Institute. He holds a Master in International Law (MIL) from the Graduate Institute and a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Ghana. He has been called to the Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana. Prior to embarking on his PhD he was a Senior State Attorney at the Office of the Attorney General in Ghana. He also taught as an Adjunct Law Lecturer at universities including; Lancaster University (Ghana) and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. His research interests include Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs), Law and Development in Africa and Artificial Intelligence. Under the supervision of Professors Andrew Clapham and Gilles Carbonnier his PhD research seeks to curb IFFs in developing economies (Africa) by putting in place a uniform international framework under international law to deal with the issue.
