Junteng Zheng is currently working on his doctoral research at the Graduate Institute and working as the assistant programme manager of the LLM Programme at the Institute. Alongside research, he provides legal advice to international organisations and individuals. Formerly, Junteng was the Mark Haas Fellow of Columbia University, New York and an associate in its faculty of law. He also served as a senior researcher for the UN Special Rapporteur in the field of cultural rights, Karima Bennoune, and as a researcher for Sarah Cleveland on the UN Human Rights Committee. He was named the Arthur C Helton Fellow of the American Society of International Law (ASIL). He clerked for Justice Cameron in the Constitutional Court of South Africa. Junteng holds an LLB from Renmin University of China School of Law, a Juris Doctor from University of California Davis, and a Master of Laws from Columbia Law School. He is a member of the New York Bar.
