PhD Thesis Title: The Legitimacy of Trans-Local Networks in Global Governance
PhD Supervisor: James Hollway
With the persistence of global societal challenges, effective global governance is needed more than ever. But as traditional intergovernmental institutions are not fit for the task, alternative structures are rapidly gaining importance. This thesis investigates the legitimacy of the most promising of these structures, trans-local governance, as a measure of its sustainability as a form of global governance.
