Insurance
Switzerland requires all residents to have health insurance. Students will, therefore, have to show proof of their insurance policy to local health authorities.

If you are affiliated to an insurance through your university, we recommend you to submit this form to your insurance prior to your arrival. If it is recognized by the SAM (Swiss Insurance Company) you do not need to subscribe to a swiss insurance.
Remember to cancel your insurance policy upon departure, otherwise you will continue to receive invoices.
DEPARTURE
IMPORTANT: Students who have received a residency permit are required to inform the OCPM (emploi.ocp@etat.ge.ch, Cc international.programmes@graduateinstitute.ch) about their departure, at the latest, two weeks prior to leaving by sending the departure form, duly completed. This procedure is mandatory.
