Following on from the success of Geneva Trade Week 2020, the Geneva Trade Platform is proud to bring you GTW 2021. With the WTO Public Forum once again taking place this year, the focus of GTW shifts to supporting and enhancing the Public Forum by making the week feel even more inclusive, diverse and accessible.

At the heart of our offering will be a large virtual convention centre, to replicate that magical feeling of bumping into a colleague in the atrium, browsing the latest research papers at a stall, debating policy over coffee or simply meeting others that share your passion for trade policy. This will be free, available for the duration of Geneva Trade Week and accessible from any web browser without installation.

Through the GTW Convention Hall and webinars over the course of the week, virtual attendees will be able to enhance their Public Forum experience through Geneva Trade Week's plenaries,  open training sessions, discussions, student events and networking sessions. Those making the trip to be in Geneva in person can also benefit from a range of in-person receptions, breakfast meetings and hybrid dialogues.

The week of the WTO's Public Forum is a fantastic time to highlight new research, publications, books and emerging authors. With the international policy community's eyes focused on trade, Geneva Trade Week 2021 invites you to share your work in our virtual GTW Convention Hall.

We are looking for trade-relevant publications released in the last 12 months, and are especially (but not exclusively) eager to showcase those from scholars at the start of their careers.

The document above provides more details on the submission process and how papers will be presented to the public during Geneva Trade Week, whether through the papers list, the five slide digital poster sessions or through a stall or book talk.

The deadline for submission is 17 Sept. 23:59 CET and all documents must have been received by then.

Please note that the information below is exclusively for the purpose of the organisation of GTW2021 and will not be used in any other capacity or for any other purpose.
