The Director’s Global Leadership Series brings to the Institute a select group of influential decision-makers, leaders shaping international policy, diplomacy, business, and humanitarian action at the highest level with a positive impact for human security and peace.
Curated by the Director, this series features heads of international organisations, senior government officials, CEOs, and other global figures whose decisions have a direct impact on international affairs and international collaboration for peace. These events offer a unique opportunity to hear firsthand perspectives on today’s most pressing global challenges, from those at the forefront of addressing them.
More than keynote talks, the series is designed to foster meaningful engagement between these leaders and the Institute’s community of students, faculty, and practitioners. Each event creates a space for critical reflection, informed dialogue, and exchange across disciplines and sectors. In particular, we create the space during those events for a direct engagement between invited leaders and students from the Institute.
The Director’s Global Leadership Series reflects a renewed emphasis on leadership, highlighting the ideas, responsibilities, values and complexities that define leadership for international collaboration and peace in a rapidly changing world.
