This research cluster gathers two Graduate Institute's thematics: “Peace, War & Conflicts” and “Security”. “Peace, War & Conflicts” concretely deals with issues such as the changing nature of war, military interventions, peacebuilding and reconstruction, the past, present and future of peace and disarmament diplomacy, mediation, as well as the historical formats taken by dispute settlement or negotiation, while “Security” focuses on human or national security, cybersecurity, the protection of privacy and the increase in surveillance in changing or new contexts of violence.
