Centre on Conflict, Development & Peacebuilding

The Centre on Conflict, Development and Peacebuilding (CCDP) is the Geneva Graduate Institute’s focal point for advancing research and engagement on conflict, peacebuilding, and the links between security and development.

The CCDP bridges research, policy, and practice by conducting interdisciplinary and policy-relevant research on conflict, development, and peacebuilding. We work in inclusive partnerships with international agencies, governments, NGOs, local communities, and regional organisations to shape policies and practices that strengthen peace and security at both global and local levels.

The Centre is a founding partner of the Geneva Peace Forum and Geneva Peace Week, a member of the OSCE Network of Think Tanks and Academic Institutions, and works in sustained partnership with the Small Arms Survey, the Centre on Armed Groups, Everyday Peace Indicators, and Principles for Peace.
